Stop your board by slowly pushing the tail down into the ground with your back foot and this time transfer your body weight from front to back.

Continuously push more extra pressure on the tail until the deck enters the ground. if the board reaches the ground, you will detect a scraping sound and you can easily leave the board.

Usually, This brake is not for downhill riding. This method or braking system only works for street or flat-road riding. At first, move your front foot to the center of the board when you riding. Then transfer your full body weight to your front foot and try to be comfortable with your front foot.

When you feel balanced with the front foot then try to slowly touch your rear foot on the ground and continuously give more light pressure on the ground with the back foot. And at this time transfer your body weight from the front to the back foot. Remember that never put your foot directly on the ground so that you can fall and get injured.

Jumping out from the skateboard is a very easy method for beginners. This method is only for slow riding, don’t try this method when you riding so fast.

Very simple way, keep your front foot in the middle of the board and extent the back foot in the air. when you are ready to jump then put your back foot on the ground and leave that board. The moment you leave the board, you need to run a bit forward to control the gravity of your body.

Remember: When you leave the board that is going away from you. if you are doing this trick in a crowded area the board will run forward and that running board can hurt someone.

The Power Sliding

The power slide

This is the most effective way to stop or slow down however it requires practice to get used to it and be able to do it effectively. Skateboard power slide brake using to stop the skate instantaneous when anyone unintentionally steps on the front of the moving board. You must know the skills, particularly if you ride in a highly-populated area like the skating zone.

Basically, the power slide is 4 wheels slide trick. At first, moves your weight on the front foot and force the board forward to 90 degrees right turn for the wheel slide. At this time your feet will front of you and your upper body is in the back seat. When you turn in a 90-degree position the wheels actually stop turning and then the board slide in forward. As you finally slowed down, it will complete your powerslide. 

Remember: You need to lot of speed for powerslide. we recommended using harder wheels because these quite are easier to slide. if you have soft wheels they tend to not quite slide as well.

Quick Turn (180°) In Slide To Stop

This is the coolest and most advanced technique to slow down a skateboard. This method can apply when you riding downhill or faster speed. At first, move your front foot on the nose of the deck and turn a long turn for slowing the skate(requires to turn 180 degrees Angle). If the board speeds down, drag slowly your hand on the ground to balance the board. When the board is going to slow down then lift your hand back up Be careful you must have all of the proper safety gear such as hands gloves, pads, and wrist guard.

Remember: when your board going to slow down don’t put your palms on the ground before drug your hand.
